G1 Homework – Wednesday Feb 21st 2024

Reminder:

• Today was the last Pizza
  Wednesday- we will have food on Fridays from next week onwards. Please
  send lunch on Wednesday for your child.
• Thursday – we will have
  our show and tell with a story book.
• February 23^rd
  2024  is a Pro-D Day and school will be closed.

Today’s Homework:

ELA: Complete the
writing worksheet for new list of sight words.  Learn to say the words
properly and focus on pronouncing the words correctly.  Spelling quiz Thursday

Math:  Complete the math sheet for Addition and
subtraction. There will be a spelling test from one to five on Thursday.

Punjabi: Complete
reading lesson 4 in workbook as review and complete the written activities.

Gurmat:

• Students did kirtan in
  Basant Raag at Gurdwara Sahib main stage today. Students will be doing the
  same every Wednesday from now onwards. Please wear the yellow T-shirt and
  yellow turban/rumaal/hazuria to school every Wednesday for the rest of the
  Basant Season.

• continue practicing
  first 5 pauri of Jap Ji Sahib daily.
